K9 is a disinfectant containing Quaternary Ammonium Compounds and Glutaraldehyde, it is certified as non-toxic at 1:100 by the Ministry of Agriculture, and is a light green in colour. K9 is non-corrosive.
K9 is a terminal disinfectant for floors, walls and ceilings, having a broad spectrum of activity against Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi, Moulds and Yeasts. It will eliminate all pathogens, and is highly effective in veterinary surgeries, kennels, catteries and all animal buildings.
METHOD AND RATES OF USE
Remove organic soiling using QUATCLEAN at 1:320. Dilute 1 part K9 to 100 parts water, and spray to saturate the surfaces to be disinfected. 1 litre of K9, when diluted, will disinfect 3000 sq ft of surface area. Allow to dry (approx 5 minutes), then ventilate closed spaces.
MAKE SURE THAT CATS QUARTERS ARE DRY BEFORE ALLOWING CATS BACK IN.
Wash equipment and feeders thoroughly, and soak for 30 minutes in diluted K9. Rinse in clean water, and dry.
Do not swallow or breathe fumes
Always wear goggles, mask, gloves and protective clothing when handling concentrate or spraying.
Do not let material contact skin or eyes. Contact with K9 diluted material is not harmful provided that it is washed immediately with clean water.
